The best lie you can tell yourself
This is The best lie you can tell yourself

The most important part of being successful is committing to the boring parts you don’t want to do. Simply because, if you can do the boring parts, you can do anything else success has in store for you.
Now to do the boring things you don’t want to do, I use a tactic which isn’t talked about to much which is lying. I’ll lie to myself to get stuff done, for example, there are times when I do not feel like going to the gym. where I’m comfortable in bed or maybe I have better things that I’d rather do, maybe I’m tired or just straight up don't feel like going through the discomfort the gym brings that day. And when this happens I flat-out lie to myself.

I think to myself, “come on, let’s go to the gym for 15 minutes, just 15 alright”. with that in mind, I get out of bed and go to the gym. However, what generally happens is after I do some sets at the gym for 15 minutes, I'm feeling warmed up, I’m feeling good because I’m lifting weights which proves I’m being a disciplined individual and because I have momentum coupled with my testosterone increasing by lifting weights, and the next thing you know an hour goes by and I've had one of the best workouts of the week, all simply because I lied to myself, I had a bit of discipline to carry the lie out and completing the journey through momentum.

The 2 voices
This all does back to that thing where we have two voices in our head, we have the grown discipline man's voice and the child's voice, that child's voice is gonna get you to try and opt out of doing anything uncomfortable and you simply can’t be successful without some sort of discomfort in your life. So with that in mind all you do is lie to that voice and say “hey listen we're gonna go do the bare minimum and that’s it, we're going to be in and out, it's gonna be super easy, no pain involved alright.” the next thing you know you have the opportunity to have one of the most productive days you've had all week simply because you lied. From there, you had the bare minimum amount of discipline to take action and momentum did the rest.

It's a trick I've used for a while now and it’s so powerful in practice. telling yourself little lies to do the hard work even when you don’t want to get that ball moving for you which can lead to having a fantastic day.
Lie to yourself, it can be positive because you're just telling that little child voice that it's not gonna be so bad which gives you enough momentum and discipline to do what you gotta do.
