The Best Tip to Become Successful
I want to tell you about some advice that truly is helped my life,
I want to tell you about some advice that truly is helped my life, it's a bit dramatic but it has helped me become more productive in my workload and has helped me get more done throughout the day as a whole. And this concept consists of “focusing on what you did do and not what you didn't do”.
And the reason this was helpful because if you're anything like me, you'll overthink a lot about things like the amount of work you still have to do and then in the process of overthinking about the tasks you have left for the day, you end up becoming less productive on the things you have to do because you're so focused on the sheer amount of work that is left to do if that makes sense.
In other words, you become so overwhelmed with the number of tasks that you still have to do, that it just stops you from doing the work in the present moment. But there's a balance to this because you can be on one end of the spectrum where you're overwhelmed with the workload like
I just said, but you can also be on the other end of the spectrum where you focus so much on what you did do that you just kind of forget or do not care about about the rest of the work you still have to do. It's like “oh well I've done this much for the day the other stuff doesn't matter because this is how much I did already” and then you still end up just not doing as much work because the deadlines that you have for the other stuff don't hold as much weight because you're too satisfied with the work you’ve already done, to satisfied that you don’t do the rest of we work that you have to do.
I was on both sides of this spectrum, but once I found that balance of not overwhelming myself with the work but also knowing that the remaining work still has to be done, that’s when I had the best balance of the two and has helped me get the work I set myself up to do and will help you if you implement this mindset and balance it well.
