The Success Dellemia

Let’s be honest, in this game of life, we have a bunch of things that we can do but we can boil it down to 2 main things, struggle now & have fun later, or have fun now & struggle later.

The difference between success and failure

To be successful, there’s going to be a period in your life where you're going to have to struggle, there’s no success without struggle so this isn’t surprising, this struggle could manifest in different ways, it could be the struggle of deep work, the struggle of saying no to hanging out with friends, the struggle of avoiding distractions, the struggle of keeping a positive mindset, whatever the struggle is, the point is that it’s a struggle.

Every successful person that I’ve researched, read about or met, has said the same thing. They had this period in their lives, where they had to go through the struggle & embrace it in a sense, where they had to block out all distractions & go all in, it might’ve been a business, a personal goal, but it doesn’t matter. The point is that they had to go through that grind, that struggle, to make it to the top.

The Bitter Truth

You could say that you don’t need to struggle because “you know this one crypto coin that just blew up so I don’t need to struggle”. And yeah you’d be right. There are exceptions to the masses but that doesn't deprive the generalized truth, for example, if I say people have 2 eyes & I see someone with one eye, that exception doesn't deprive me of my general knowledge that humans have 2 eyes.

There are a select few people in the masses that got success without working for it but you & I can’t bank on that, we can’t bank on just luck, that you are gonna be that 1 in a 10000…. person that is successful without the struggle & work ethic that goes into it.

Let’s say that even if we are that 1 in 1000 that gets success without hard work, to me it doesn’t hold the same value, it only holds value because it’s tough to get, it holds value because we go through so many trails & tribulations & so many failures so when we finally reach success then we can appreciate, value & continue that success, this is important because

we aren’t grateful for they things we don’t value.

This is why lottery winners blow most of their money away, they got all this money without hard work so they don’t value the money so they blow it all away till the money is out.

At the end of the day, we have 2 choices, to either willingly choose to struggle now, to put in the hard work now & do the hard work especially when we don’t feel like it to be where we want to be in life & then enjoy pleasure later, or to have pleasure now & regret later, it’s all up to you, so choose wisely.
